The objective

Host an internal awards event for an established financial organisation to recognise innovation and excellence across each area of the business.

The challenge

The venue was an unusual shape with a low ceiling which had to be taken into consideration when planning the stage area. The theme, vintage seaside, required sourcing items off-island to transform the dated room into an impactful and exciting space in line with the client’s vision. As the Isle of Man event was running in tandem with the Jersey event, strict timings needed to be met and a live link between the two locations had to be managed.

The process

Imekota worked with the client from conception to conclusion including managing the budget, planning the entertainment and organising a bespoke menu. Imekota also sourced local suppliers to assist with the room décor, production, and photography and acted as the main point of contact for all queries. Leading up to the event, weekly meetings were had with the client to update them on the progress, ensure the vision was being maintained and relay costs against budget. On the day of the event, Imekota provided on-site coordination between the client, suppliers and guests.
